So today’s Wednesday review for me is a little exciting, as when I first got back into lifting last year, according to the website I wouldn’t have fit this brand. Then I realised this year, I can get into their second biggest size so today I’m reviewing Muscle Nation.

As we know, I’m a little bit animal print obsessed and I mean, who doesn’t love pink leopard. So this gorgeous set of Motion Full leggings and Bra in Pink Leopard Print joined my active wardrobe. I was a bit hesitant that it would arrive and it wouldn’t fit, but I was pleasantly surprised when it did arrive to find I could pull them straight on.

I’ll cover the tights first. These are their Full Motion full length tights , which you can get in a range of different colours. I love that these have a full high waist band and they do have what I’d call light-medium compression overall. The fabric feels so nice to touch and is super nice to wear (it’s a nylon/lycra blend). These don’t feature a scrunch bum (something I’m still working the confidence to wear) which is another thing I really liked about them.

I was pretty happy with the squat test. The fabric stays pretty opaque and doesn’t stretch out heaps. I will note though, if you wear dark knickers they will show through the fabric, due to high light in colour it is. The waistband stays in place throughout my squat, except at the front where the top has a habit of folding down one, which is due to being a rolly babe and pretty commonplace for me.

I’m wearing the XL in these with the Muscle Nation Size range going from an XXS to an XXL. I found them to be true to the size chart, with my measurements being pretty damn smack in the middle of the XL size. Overall I’m super happy with these tights and so glad I got them.

Ok let’s talk bra. You can get a few different styles in this print, but I opted for the Motion Stretch as I really liked the back of it. I’m wearing the XL, which again is my size according to the size chart. While the underbust band can scrunch a little on me (again a common issue as a squishy girl) and look firm it’s not uncomfortable or constricting and I do believe going up a size would make it too big in the bust. The fabric is the same nice wearing fabric as the tights and is lined, making it a very comfortable fit.

It also comes with the removable padding (which I prefer to take out) which I like! I do appreciate being given the option. The back straps of this set are also pretty comfortable despite their thin size and don’t hurt or cut in on me.

So far I’ve worn this set just to the gym but I would have no issues rocking it to lyra as well without any worry of a bust slip or issues with my tights.

I hope you’ve enjoyed this review and like seeing this set in action over the coming month as I can tell, its going to get a lot of wear!

Til next time darlings
